Mindfulness Course

The Right Reflection is pleased to offer this free online version of our Mindfulness course. Our hope is that this course will be a calming resource during these very challenging times and equally valuable in the future, during the best of times. Even though it’s free, we didn’t scrimp on content.  This 8-part course is filled with self-discovery assessments, audio resources and valuable exercises for incorporating mindfulness into your daily life.

Mindfulness Session 2

This session explores the pros and cons of the things we do automatically and how developing more awareness of these automatic actions strengthen mindfulness.

Mindfulness Session 3

This session explores the tendency we all have to automatically pass judgment based on the filter through which we process our thoughts and feelings about people, situations – and even ourselves. Increasing mindfulness will give you a more balanced view of reality which results in more measured, thoughtful responses.

Mindfulness Session 4

This session explores the reality behind the saying “what you resist persists.”  This session provides tools you need to start constructively experiencing emotions rather than suppressing them.

Mindfulness Session 5

This session covers both the helpful and not so helpful aspects of setting goals including constructive ways we can avoid the anxiety created when the discrepancy between the current state and the goal is too great. The power of gratitude is also discussed.

Mindfulness Session 6

This session explores the value of compassion – especially self compassion, and offers a number of exercises we can use to increase self compassion, including a powerful meditation.

Mindfulness Session 7

This session focuses on the important factors that form our sense of self and the strong consequences we face when we identify with  things like our possessions,  job, appearance, grades, etc.
