How you see changes what you see.
How you think changes what you think.
I’m Pam Hernandez, Founder and CEO of The Right Reflection. In my leadership coaching practice, clients expand their view of what is possible, at work and in life. They experience a shift in perspective – a change in how they think which in turn alters self limiting behaviors. The result is often profound and always actionable, right from the start. While I have extensive real-world experience as both a leader and a coach, and coaching credentials and certifications, it’s my passion for building leadership excellence that is the foundation of my work.

Developmental Coaching is the Differentiator
Developmental Coaching is based on the theory that people continue to grow and develop throughout their lives. It is different from Performance Coaching which is a process that basically creates a “how-to list” of things you can do to become a better leader, like delegating more or having more productive meetings. Performance coaching focuses the “outer game” of leadership – the tangibles. Improving the “outer game” is far more effective if it is preceded by work on the “inner game” which is at the heart of the developmental coaching work I offer. Understanding this “inner game” helps clients discover what is really needed to make lasting changes and a more productive, successful “outer game” is easily achieved.
In this video, you’ll hear me explain more about my approach to coaching, the “inner” and “outer” games of leadership and why this approach will have lasting effects on your leadership development.
Three pathways to Leadership Excellence
Through working with the Right Reflection, clients grow in self-awareness, confidence and resilience and gain a toolbox of invaluable solutions that are actionable, practical and enduring. Many report that their coaching journey has been life-changing, at a much deeper level than expected. The positive results are often felt beyond the workplace. Whether individual, group or team coaching, every person receives dedicated time that far surpasses typical coaching engagements and with results that last long after the coaching ends. Coaching services can be divided into three client categories – individual, peer group (Leadership Academy) and Executive Team. While there are similarities across all services, there are also some key differences:
Individual Coaching
Individual coaching is initiated either by a company for their executive(s) or by an individual who wants to invest in themselves.
My business clients invest in their executives for a variety of reasons ranging from helping prepare high potential successors for advancement to turning around the derailing behavior of a talented but disruptive leader.
Individuals invest in coaching for themselves often because they feel stuck, uninspired, or are at a critical career or personal crossroad.
Leadership Academy
The Leadership Academy is an uplifting 9-month peer-based program. Real world experience, small group learning (up to 15 participants) with like-minded leaders and individual coaching are combined seamlessly to springboard leadership command and self-development.
Originally tailored to meet the unique demands of physician leaders, The Leadership Academy can be modified to suit professional groups such as doctors, lawyers and academic leaders. It can also be very effective for use within a single organization where the leadership peers across the organization, but not in direct reporting relationships, could gain positive momentum by sharing a leadership mindset.
EXECUTIVE TEAM COACHING
Behind every successful company is a strong, united leadership team that inspires their whole organization to adapt and flourish.
The Right Reflection’s Executive Team Coaching program is leadership team building taken to a whole new level. Designed to advance the skills and effectiveness of a senior level working team, it offers all of the elements of the Leadership Academy, but also explores the organization’s culture – current and desired – and ensures that the team moves forward, with each individual bringing their best to the table. (This differs from Leadership Academy in that this is a team under a single leader).
